Unable to login to the workspace application due to the identity store not being initialized after the virtualize=true property is set (Doc ID 2860019.1)

Symptoms

After enabling the virtualize=true property and restarting the weblogic domain the following error appears regularly in the logs:

 

Login to the workspace and other applications may also fail to login.
