SQLDeveloper Generates ORA-02004 Errors in Audit Trail (Doc ID 2862516.1)

Goal

SQL Developer performs some queries at startup that get flagged as a security violation (ORA-02004) in audit log.

SQL Developer 21.2.1.204 specifically executes these queries:

This causes ORA-2004 error entries in audit trail.

This was supposed to be fixed in 20.1 as per <Note 2333548.1>

How can we correct this and remove these statements from sql developer startup?
