Unable to Open Imaging Documents after Migrating an 11.1.1.8 Filesystem to New Hardware and Upgrading to 12.2.1.4 (Doc ID 2863021.1)

Symptoms

The below errors occur when trying to open any Imaging document:

Imaging Log File Error Messages:

Error transforming object[[
oracle.imaging.RenderingException: The viewer cache repository could not retrieve requested document 1.IPM_nnnnnn.
       at oracle.imaging.viewer.repository.ipm.IpmCacheRepository.retrieveDocument(IpmCacheRepository.java:71)
       at oracle.imaging.viewer.cache.FillCacheMDBBean.onMessage(FillCacheMDBBean.java:162)

Caused by: oracle.imaging.ImagingException: TCM-00787: A repository error occurred.
       faultType: SYSTEM
       faultDetails:
         ErrorCode = oracle.stellent.ridc.protocol.ServiceException, ErrorMessage = Error accessing file 'nnnnnn_1.tif' for download. The error was caused by an internally generated issue. The error has been logged.

Document 1.IPM_nnnnnn failed image conversion and cannot be stored in the cache at this time.  

Content Server Log File Error Messages:

Trace Message:(Containing page is default//u01/app/oracle/data/base_domain/ucm/cs/vault/document/mdaw/mzg1/nnnnnn.tif.)

service exception[[
intradoc.common.ServiceException: !csErrorAccessingForDownload,nnnnnn_1.tif

Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /u01/app/oracle/data/base_domein/ucm/cs/vault/document/mdaw/mzg1/nnnnnn.tif (No such file or directory)

 

Changes

New environment created with unsupported migration and upgrade procedure: binary copy of 11.1.1.8 filesystem to new hardware and upgrading to 12.2.1.4.
