Symptoms

RMI call from WebLogic Server 14.1.1 to WebLogic 12.2.1.3.0, fails with below Security Principal Error.


End System is running with WLS 12.2.1.3.0 and JDK8. Client application upgraded WLS 10.3.6; JDK6 to WLS 14.1.1.0; JDK 11.

Custom application uses t3 protocol to communicate with end system. When web services invoked using Soap UI, the end system WLS12.2.1.3 t3 calls are processed successfully and get SOAP response (with Debug set on WLS instance), but response to Soap UI is returned as Security Principal error.
