(Doc ID 2866473.1)

Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
Selecting pre-sort by dDocName in Content Presenter with "Contents Under a Folder" is sorting by dDocName instead.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect the documents are sorted by title.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Upload some documents in a portal folder:
Ensure the document name and title are different to see the issue.
- Navigate to a page and add a Content Presenter using the following settings:
Content Source: Contents Under a Folder
Sort Order: dDocTitle ascending
Template: Sortable Table View (or any content presenter template that includes dDocTitle)
- Publish and view the page.
Note the Document Title isn't sorted as expected. Instead it is sorted by document name. Note also the sort is case sensitive as uppercase letters come before lower case.
- Use the sort icon in the top of the document name to sort ascending.
The sort order is different as this time the sort is case insensitive.
This shows that pre-sorting the column is not the same as sorting later as one is case sensitive and the later sort is not.
