Custom Interfaces Stopped Working After Upgrade to EDQ 12.2.1.4.2 Where the Namespace-Prefix Changed in the SOAP-WebService (Doc ID 2866623.1)

Symptoms

 In the SOAP-Responses from Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ WebServices), the Namespace Prefix was changed from "SOAP-ENV" to "soap" with  EDQ 12.2.1.4.2.  Some custom interfaces, "calling applications", no longer work due to this change. Is there some way to preserve the old functionality?
