Oracle ESSO Logon Manager fails to recognize a mainframe application (Doc ID 2869002.1)

Symptoms


Oracle ESSO Logon Manager version fails to recognize mainframe applications rendered in the Rocket TE (Bluezone) mainframe emulator.

Verified that the mainframe helper object (ssmho.exe) is installed and running in the Process Explorer monitoring tool.

Verified that both ssomho.exe and bzmd.exe processes are running at medium integrity within the Process Explorer tool as well.

Created a new mainframe application template using the ESSO Administrative console but the ESSO Logon Manager agent still failed to recognize the application in the mainframe emulator.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use ESSO Logon Manager to authenticate to Mainframe applications in the Rocket TE (Bluezone) emulator. .
