Symptoms

Customer has an application that implements Spring Framework and Hibernate which is deployed on WebLogic Server 12.2.1.4. The page where user details are updated with an insert into database consistently fails with the below error stack trace.  The problem is only when any data is modified and click on the submit button. Select on database to retrieve user data works.
