Customizations done to the WebCenter Content User Interface (WCC ADF UI / RUI) no Longer Work After Upgrade (Doc ID 2870856.1)

Symptoms


ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Some customizations for the Content UI are no longer working after upgrading from 12.2.1.1 to 12.2.1.4.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect the customizations to continue to work.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Customize the Content UI in 12.2.1.1 release per the following documentation:
     
    Fusion Middleware Developing with Oracle WebCenter Content
    6 Customizing the WebCenter Content User Interface
     
     
  2. Upgrade content server to 12.2.1.4.
     
     
  3. Open the original WccAdfCustomization application in JDeveloper 12.2.1.4 and apply the customziations to the upgraded 12.2.1.4 Content UI.
    Here you will see not all customizations work.
