Oracle BI Publisher Deployment Fails when Configuring ODI 12.2.1.4.0 Domain (Doc ID 2875929.1)

Symptoms

In an Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) 11.1.1.10.4 environment, Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) deployment fails when Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.4.0 domain is configured using <ORACLE_HOME>/oracle_common/common/bin/config.sh.

The deployment fails with following exception:

The latest Oracle BIP version 11.1.1.10.4 is certified with ODI 12.2.1.4.0 and it is this new combination for which the problem is noticed.
