SQLDeveloper Fails to Connect to ORDS Server After ORDS SSL Certificate Was Renewed (Doc ID 2879038.1)

Symptoms

When trying to access an ORDS REST service from SQLDeveloper classic the following error occurs:

Cannot connect to <server>.
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

- ORDS is running standalone, on premise.

Changes

 ORDS Server SSL Certificates are renewed.
