Symptoms

The following error is received when executing the Repository Consistency Checker (RCC) utility to analyze Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g Repositories hosted in an Oracle 19c database:

The error is received while the RCC attempts to connect to the Oracle 19c database schema which holds the ODI Master Repository information.

The JDBC driver class, URL, username and password passed to the RCC are however correct, and the same connection information is successfully used from SQL Developer and ODI 11g Studio itself.

Note that the RCC has been configured to use Java 7.
