Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The following behavior is observed in Oracle Data integrator (ODI) 12c when smart importing a Sub-Folder into a parent Folder F1:
- If the Sub-Folder exists already in the same parent Folder F1, ODI will update it with the information contained in the smart export file.
- If the Sub-Folder does not exist in the parent Folder F1, but exists in a different parent Folder F2 of same Project, then the smart import operation will create in the parent Folder F1 a Sub-Folder having the name prefixed with **Copy of**.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
- If the Sub-Folder exists, then the smart import should update it.
- If the Sub-Folder does not exist in the parent Folder F1, the smart import operation is supposed to create it with the name from source, without any **Copy of** prefix.
