Goal

In Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) 11.1.2.3.2101713, this is the observed behavior for the queues that view the following Certifications in their respective Pending Certifications page:

Certification Definition   Visibility
User Certification   User and Proxy User
Role Certification   Proxy User Only
Application Instance Certification   Proxy User Only
Entitlement Certification   Proxy User Only

 

 

 

 

 


In OIG 12.2.1.4.220115 without One-Off <Patch 33937973>, this is the observed behavior for the queues that view the following Certifications in their respective Pending Certifications page:

Certification Definition   Visibility
User Certification   User and Proxy User
Role Certification   Proxy User Only
Application Instance Certification   User and Proxy User
Entitlement Certification   User and Proxy User

 

 

 

 

 

 

In OIG 12.2.1.4.220115 with One-Off <Patch 33937973> applied, this is the observed behavior for the queues that view the following Certifications in their respective Pending Certifications page:

Certification Definition   Visibility
User Certification   User and Proxy User
Role Certification   User and Proxy User
Application Instance Certification   User and Proxy User
Entitlement Certification   User and Proxy User

 

 

 

 

 

 

In summary, both the Manager and the Proxy are able to see all Pending Certifications with “[<user>]” in the title and can act on them.

No errors were encountered opening any certification activities as either the User or the Proxy User.

The actions taken by either the User or the Proxy User were visible to the other during the Certification process.
