ESSO/.NET Issue Post ESSO V11.1.2.4.0 Version Rollout (Doc ID 2881645.1)

ESSO/.NET issue after installing ESSO v11.1.2.4.0  


After installing ESSO 11.1.2.4.0 to replace versions 11.1.2.3.0 and 11.1.2.3.2. the following error is displayed on ~20 machines out of ~6500 when starting some applications:

ERROR:

"An unhandled Microsoft .NET Framework exception occurred in [17208]"

The ESSO deployment uses a custom MSI package created using the ESSO Administrative Console.

The behavior as we see ~20 or so client machines that were impacted and were noted to have .NET Framework 3.5.

Are there any known issues related to Microsoft .NET when installing ESSO 11.1.2.4.0?
