Oracle Identity Governance (OIG) 12c: Instance Application Reading It's Own APP_TEMPLATE.DATA Information for Schema and Transformation Groovy Logic
(Doc ID 2882588.1)
Last updated on JULY 20, 2022
Applies to:
Identity Manager - Version 12.2.1.4.211010 to 12.2.1.4.220413 [Release 12c]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Starting with OIG 12.2.1.4.211010 (patch 33453703), if you create an instance application off of a base application then any changes made to the base application are not consumed by the instance application.
For example, when you create an instance application the base applications schema and groovy logic are copied to the instance applications APP_TEMPLATE.DATA row. Prior to 12.2.1.4.211010, if you changed the base application's schema and/or groovy logic then the instance applications would use that, as designed.
However, starting with OIG 12.2.1.4.211010 up to and including the OIG 12.2.1.4,220703, the instance application will continue to use it's own schema and groovy logic contained in its APP_TEMPLATE.DATA row instead of correctly using the base applications data.
