eGate unable to connect to Oracle 19c DB

We use eGate version 5.0.5 and have a Java collaboration that connects to a Cerner Oracle 10g database.
Cerner is doing an upgrade of the DB to version 19c and now eGate is failing to connect to the database causing integration issues.
The Oracle JDBC driver compatible for connections to version 19c etc are not compliant with the versions of Java eGate runs on.
