FRM-41223 BI Publisher Integration Error When Calling The BI Publisher Report Via Https (Doc ID 2886254.1)

Symptoms

While running BI Publisher (BIP) report from forms over HTTPS, gets following error.

FRM-41223 error BI Publisher integration error.

Error from the diagnostics log:

[WLS_FORMS] [ERROR] [FRM-91160] [oracle.forms.servlet][userId: <anonymous>] [ecid: <ecid>] [APP: formsapp] [partition-name: DOMAIN] [tenant-name: GLOBAL] [FORMS_SESSION_ID: WLS_FORMS.formsapp.1] [SRC_CLASS: oracle.forms.servlet.RunformProcess] [SRC_METHOD: fromFrmwebToODL] BI Publisher integration error: Failed to access the WSDL at: https://<host>:<bipport>/xmlpserver/services/v2/ScheduleService?wsdl. It failed with: [[
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target.


Works when using HTTP.
