Applying RDA Patch with SPBAT or OPatch Hangs with "Does ...\rda_deleted\misc specify a file name or directory name on the target" (Doc ID 2886414.1)

Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)

Symptoms

On Windows platforms SPBAT hangs while applying RDA patch with following entries in the wls-Napply-[time_stamp].log:

 


"Task Manager" Details tab showing xcopy running and not completing:


Issue reproduces with RDA 12.2.1.3, 12.2.1.4, and 14.1.1 patches:
14.1.1.0 <Patch 34212778>
12.2.1.4 <Patch 34212770>
12.2.1.3 <Patch 34212747>

Due to hanging the RDA patch installation is not completed.
