Symptoms
There are actually two problems uncovered here. The first one was that when customizing the UI, it was discovered that the pick list for 'Data Component - Catalog' appears empty. In the OIM server log, the following error was appearing any time it was attempted to display or use Data Component - Catalog:
Note: The error specifies the name of the missing VO. This is very helpful for determining which application is causing the problem. ex: 'JBO-25002: Definition sessiondef.oracle.iam.ui.runtime.form.model.SomeApplicationName.view.SomeApplicationVO of type View Definition is not found.'
