"Cannot find default EKM" Error when Accessing the Physical Design of a Mapping in ODI Studio (Doc ID 2887980.1)

Symptoms

An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) environment having one master repository and several work repositories linked to it where there are several ODI Studio logins, each pointing to a different work repository experiences an error in the following circumstance:
When connecting to ODI login 1 and opening a mapping, the physical design is shown properly.
When disconnecting the current login and connecting to ODI login 2 and opening another mapping, then when accessing the physical design it shows a validation error:
