How To Setup OAM MDC In Single Kubernetes Cluster Using Two Different Namespaces (Doc ID 2889818.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Access Manager - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Is it possible to configure OAM multi-data centers (MDC) with automatic policy sync (APS) within a single Kubernetes cluster using two different namespaces?

Yes, this is technically possible and the details on how to do so are shown below. However, it is not recommended to use this technique in a production environment because a failure with the Kubernetes infrastructure will cause both the primary and clone environments to fail.
