Imaging Workflow Connection Test Through Using A Load Balancer Fails with Error "Server redirected too many times (5)" (Doc ID 2891299.1)

Symptoms

The connection and associated tests are failing when trying to supply a Load Balancer URL.  When the provider is set to a single SOA node and App Server host/port, the test works.

Error connecting to workflow system:

Server redirected too many times (5)

Enabled SSL for UCM in the config.xml and restarted both nodes.  Added the following plug-in parameters to the apache virtual host location configuration:

Verified that the WebLogic plug-in setting is enabled for each managed server and added "WL-Proxy-SSL: true" header to the apache conf.

How can this be resolved?
