SQL Developer Not Seeing Data For Synonyms Of An Object Using A Db Link (Doc ID 2893025.1)

Database 12.1.0.2

Problem
-------------------

Created a Database link using Oracle dg4msql gateway 21c to a database in SQL Server 2019.
The Database link works fine. select from tables using Database link is ok.  The test of Database links in schema browser is ok.
The problem is after creating a synonym for an object using that Database link.  
A click in synonyms gives no data displayed.  The synonym can be used in a select with no problem.
