Is Redeployment Needed after A New Deployment Plan Created in WebLogic Console (Doc ID 2894198.1)

Symptoms

For deployed application without deployment plan, changing setting under Deployments / appX / Configuration / General, e.g. Session Timeout (in seconds) from console. WebLogic will prompt to save the new plan, and shows:

• A new deployment plan has been successfully created in /u01/Xyz/sampleApp/Plan.xml.
• Your deployment configuration has been updated to include the new plan.

After click "Activate Changes", is a redeploy needed?
