Symptoms

When attempting to start Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS) Admin Server via WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST) start script, the following error occurs during nmConnect in the output of the script.

 

Additionally you will be unable to start managed servers from the WLS Admin Console either as seen below:
