ODI Smart Export Missing Dependencies Related to Recursive Scenarios (Doc ID 2897722.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), a Smart Export does not include all expected dependencies, and the included scenario dependency may be the wrong version.

For example, a main package exists that calls a second package, which sets variables and calls a third package. The smart export only includes the scenario of the third package, and the second package is the incorrect version.

As a result of this behavior, it is also possible to encounter unpublished bug 32360321, if the scenario and version as part of the export does not exist. This is described in Document 2766811.1 - ODI Smart Export Fails with ODI-26016: "SnpScen does not exist" Error
