Goal

Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.4+ with git integration. The configuration with git was initially setup without providing an encryption key.
As a result, any passwords of versioned objects, i.e. defined in JDBC connection or in objects using ODI Tools are not included.

Is it possible to switch to a key-encrypted git repository after initialization?
If yes, what is the process for adding an encryption key at this point in the lifecycle?
