"The Requested URL Was Not Found On This Server" When Attempting to Access Rwservlet or Frmservlet Pages via HTTPS (Doc ID 2917763.1)

Symptoms

On a fresh installation of Forms and Reports, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) has been setup in Oracle HTTP Server (OHS). It is working correctly as OHS can be accessed successfully via https://<hostname>:4443. But when attempting to access frmservlet via https://<hostname>:4443/forms/frmservlet or rwservlet pages like https://<hostname>:4443/reports/rwservlet/showjobs, the following errors occur.

ERRORS:
-----------------------
Forms:
Error 404--Not Found

Reports:
The requested URL /reports/rwservlet/showjobs was not found on this server.

 

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a web browser.

2. Try to access the https urls like below:
   https://<hostname>:4443/reports/rwservlet/showjobs
   https://<hostname>:4443/forms/frmservlet
