Goal
Oracle Database CLIENT 12.1.0.2 is included as one of the supporting components for Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), and Oracle Traffic Director (OTD).
This document is announcing an upgrade to Oracle Database Client 19c for OID, OHS, and OTD. This document will provide benefits of the upgrade, the expected timeline, and provide all supporting documentation for this effort.
- Important: This upgrade and this document does not apply to Oracle Forms & Reports, Oracle Business Intelligence, Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, Hyperion, or any other product installation that may use the DB Client or install an embedded Oracle HTTP Server. Each Oracle home uses a different Installer, different Inventory, and products use the DB Client in different ways.
