WebLogic Server Process Tries to Connect to Unauthorized Host Performing DNS Query (Doc ID 2928010.1)

Symptoms

After starting WebLogic Server process with shell script startWebLogic.sh, the java process attempted to connect to unauthorized host abc.xxx.yyy-dns[.]com. Server performs DNS query for abc.xxx.yyy-dns[.]com. DNS resolver returns IP address (OpenDNS sinkhole IP). WebLogic server (java process) proceeds to attempt connecting to IP which leads to security/vulnerability concerns.
