ODI Studio Hangs Expanding Session Logs for OdiInvokeRESTfulService in a Loop (Doc ID 2928472.1)

Symptoms

An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) package makes a web service call using OdiInvokeRESTfulService, pulls a batch of data, processes it, and repeats, making another call to the OdiInvokeRESTfulService tool if the web service indicates there are more records. This can loop hundreds or thousands of times and each writes many entries in the session log. This causes the individual session log to be extremely large.

When Studio attempts to open up one of these Operator Log sessions, it hangs and does not return. This makes it impossible to use Studio to monitor the execution or troubleshoot any failures.
