Can We Migrate Site Studio For External Applications (SSXA) to 12c WCC? (Doc ID 2932109.1)

Purpose

 The customer is using Site Studio for External Applications and has the application deployed on a SSXA server.
There is a note that says this type of server is no longer supported from oracle.
Is it true that SSXA servers cannot be created in 12c and is there any way to migrate the application to 12c?
