Symptoms

Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.4, when attempting to generate a scenario from a complex mapping which has been upgraded from 11g and nesting reusable mappings (RUEs) and many datasets, the scenario generation fails with out-of-memory error:
