Last updated on MARCH 16, 2023

Applies to:

Identity Manager - Version 12.2.1.4.221004 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

OIM 12.2.1.4.221004 has been integrated with Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) and Oracle Universal Directory (OUD) product components in a High Availability (HA) cluster set up.  There is a F5 Load Balancer (LBR) in front of OHS clustered nodes. The stack has end to end Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) configured.

In OIM Identity Self Service-> Manage-> Applications, the Applications Page Shows Blank. There are no errors displayed in the Graphical User Interface (GUI) front-end.

OAM/OIM integration setup was working fine before applying the Oct 22 Stack Patch Bundle (SPB). The Java development Kit (JDK) has also been upgraded to 1.8.0_351.

"-Dcom.sun.net.ssl.enableECC=false" Java argument has been set in the Weblogic domain start up file to work around the "WLSTException  connection" issue after the changes in  Oct22 SPB and JDK upgrade to 1.8.0_351.

OIM server out file has the following error messages:

Removed "!3DES" and "!DHE" from F5 LBR cipher suite string, issue is not seen.

However, the work around is not acceptable.
