Scope
This article covers the mapping of the Oracle Database Server column datatypes LONG, LONG RAW, CLOB, BLOB and BFILE. The content is valid for Oracle JDBC Drivers >= 8.1.7, Oracle Database Server >= 8.1.7 and Oracle TopLink >= 9.0.3. It should also be valid for previous versions.
