Unable to Use the "Replace" Option With "orapki" Utility to Replace an Expiring Certificate (Doc ID 2946724.1)

Symptoms

While attempting to replace an expiring certificate out of the Oracle Wallet used by OHS, using 'orapki wallet replace' command, the command fails with no error.
It shows the syntax of the orapki command, but no error. The customer is following the following KM Article:

How to Replace Expiring User Certificate/Public Key in an Oracle Wallet using Orapki from Fusion Middleware 12c (Doc ID 2664064.1)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Execute the command "orapki wallet replace -wallet . -cert user_cert.cer -user_cert".
2. The syntax of the orapki wallet command is returned. No errors. The command does not execute.
