Content Presenter Based on Results of a Query Doesn't Show All Content Server Profiles (Doc ID 2947992.1)

Symptoms


ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Content Presenter based on results of a query doesn't show all Content Server profiles.
Content Server profiles with scripts from personalization links do not show in Content Presenter.

 

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps: 

  1. Create a group in the external LDAP:
    e.g.: TestProfile1
     

  2. Add a user to the group.
    E.g.:
     
    testuser1 - TestProfile1
     

  3. Follow this note to enable ACLs in WebCenter Portal:

  4. Confirm testuser1 has TestProfile1 role in content server.

    • Connect to Content Server as testuser1.

    • Click the testuser1 link to see the user profile.

    • Confirm the user has this role: TestProfile1


  5. Create a Profile in Content Server with restricted personalization links as follows:

    • Launch the Configuration Manager.
    • Information Fields Tab: Add a profile trigger value in the IdcProfile field.

      dProfileTiggerValue: TestTrigger1
      dProfileTiggerOrder: 1

    • Profiles Tab:

      • Click Add. 

      • Enter the following and click OK:

        Profile Name: TestProfile1
         
      • Enter the following information:

        Display Label: Test Profile1
        Trigger: TestTrigger1
        Restrict personalization links: Enabled - Checked
         
      • Click Edit for personalization links.
         
      • Select: Has script for the check-in link and click Edit.

        Select the Custom tab.

        Select the Custom checkbox and enter the following:
         
         

 
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect to see all content profiles in Content Presenter as shown in the Content Manager task flow.
