How to Remove the Checkmarks from the SSO Logout Page (Doc ID 295090.1)

Goal

This note will show how to build a custom SSO logout page to remove the blue checkmarks that indicate when a partner application has been successfully logged off.

Note that implementation of the below code will hide any errors from SSO logout. Because of this SSO logout may appear to the end-user to have completed successfully when in actuality the SSO cookies have not been removed and thus opening up a security risk on the machine. Therefore, it is not recommended to implement this code unless you are absolutely positive that SSO logout is working properly.
