How To Connect SQL Developer 23.1 to SQL Server 2022 (Doc ID 2951172.1)

Goal

SQL Developer has an option to select SQL Server instead of Oracle database when trying to connect to a database. But in SQL Developer 23.1, there is no 'SQL Server' option.

Have already tried:

SQL Developer --> Help --> Check for Updates
SQL Developer --> Tools --> Preferences --> Databases --> Third Party JDBC Drivers, but it asks to upload the JDBC Driver. Not able to find JTDS JDB Driver for SQL Server.

How do you create a connection with SQL Developer 23.1 to SQL Server 2022?
