Symptoms

An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Agent is consuming memory and not releasing it. The Java Virtual Machine PS Old Gen is at 100% usage.

Observance of the heap usage shows that the PS Old Gen will increase consistently, but not reduce in size. You can see a build up of "netty-client-0" threads.

The Agent has to be restarted frequently to avoid an OutOfMemoryError.

Similar behavior happens while processing files.
