Symptoms

 

Deploying a Custom WebCenter Portal Application Migrated from 11g to 12c fails with the following errors:


ERROR

 

Operation "deploy" on application "<Portal-Application-Name>" has failed on "AdminServer".

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Migrating a Custom WebCenter Portal application developed on JDeveloper 11g to JDeveloper 12c.
     
  2. Deploy the application to a custom managed server.
