Getting the Error ORA-01843 Not A Valid Month Error on a New Instance (Doc ID 2967091.1)

Symptoms


The following error is being encountered when querying records in some forms. The issue does not happen in another 12.2.1.4.0 instance which is using the same database.



Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Run the affected form.
  2. Perform the steps to query a record or some records.
  3. After the FRM error is displayed, press the keys to 'Display Errors' (by default the keys are SHIFT+F1).

Changes

 NLS_DATE_FORMAT was set in the Forms environment file, e.g. default.env.
