Oracle EBS Employee Reconciliation: Manager Login Is Being Wrongly Mapped During Reconciliation (Doc ID 2971709.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 01, 2023

Applies to:

Identity Manager Connector - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Oracle Identity Governance (OIG)12c configured with Oracle EBS Employee Reconciliation 12.2.1.3 Connector.

SUPERVISOR_ID in EBS is mapped to Manager Login in Oracle Identity Manager (OIM).

Supervisor_ID is not same as USR_KEY (of manager in OIM)

When  SUPERVISOR_ID is reconciled from EBS HRMS, OIM is comparing this ID with USR_KEY (from USR table) and populates the manager login field with the Name of the manager corresponding to this USR_KEY.

For example:

In EBS : SUPERVISOR_ID= 62 , SUPERVISOR_NAME = ‘XX’
In OIM : USR_KEY =62 , Manager Login= ’YY’

When OIM fetches ’62’ as SUPERVISOR_ID from EBS, it is populates wrong manager in OIM.
