Customer reported high CPU on WLS server and at the same time connection to custom application receive a 504 Gateway Timeout error.

JFR and thread dumps captured at time of issue show weblogic.socket.Muxer stuck in an infinite loop at weblogic.utils.io.Chunk.tail.
