Symptoms
After the Oracle database was upgraded from 19.11 to 19.20 and the JDBC driver was upgraded from 12.1 to 19.21, all the jobs have significantly slowed down when using Eclipselink 2.7.14. The majority of the time is spent on ” SQL*Net message from client”.
It is taking a long time to create the Entity manager session, as seen from debug testing:
