ORDS Application Fails with Error Port 443 Connection Refused (Doc ID 3002084.1)

Symptoms

ORDS service gets started successfully on SSL 8181 port. However running application fails.

Testing with curl shows result as

curl -v https://<HOSTNAME>/ords

* Trying <HOSTNAME>...
* TCP_NODELAY set
* connect to <HOSTNAME> port 443 failed: Connection refused
* Failed to connect to <HOSTNAME>port 443: Connection refused
* Closing connection 0
curl: (7) Failed to connect to <HOSTNAME> port 443: Connection refused

 

 

 

Changes

 Database patches applied. This has also upgraded Operating System ( OS)
