Scenario Generation Takes Too Long with IKM Using "odiRef.getColList" with "replaceAll" Method (Doc ID 3002149.1)

Symptoms

A mapping using nested temporary interfaces / reusable mappings (RUE) has been migrated from Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g to ODI 12.2.1.4.221215.
The mapping uses a custom Integration Knowledge Module (IKM).
If the IKM has "replaceAll" for "odiRef.getColList", it takes about 5 hours to regenerate / generate the scenario.

The time to regenerate a scenario should not be significantly longer as in 11g where it takes only a few minutes.

1. Have a complex mapping using many nested RUEs
2. Have an IKM with code:
