Symptoms
When using an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) knowledge module for Oracle Database DBLINK connections, the SOURCE_ACCESS_DB_LINK option is ignored if the value is greater than 30 characters. In that case, a default database link name is used.
For example:
- If SOURCE_ACCESS_DB_LINK is set at more than 30 characters, set as "DBLinkname1abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzab" and Create_DB_Link is set to False, then ODI ignores the value as uses the default value.
- If SOURCE_ACCESS_DB_LINK as set at less than or equal to 30 characters, then it works as expected, using the value as given.
