OdiRemoveTemporaryObjects Causes ODI Session Child Steps Status to Be Shown As "DONE" While in Error After Executing (Doc ID 3015926.1)

Symptoms

When executing OdiRemoveTemporaryObjects from either the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Operator or through a Package, all Parent Sessions in the Session Log show as completed successfully, even though the Child Session is in failure.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Execute OdiRemoveTemporaryObjects
  2. If a failure occurred, Parent Sessions will show successful execution.
  3. Failed Child Steps will remain as failed executions.
